Fishing Tournament

Located at Lake Linden, this event takes place on June 4.

Rice Lake Fishing Derby

Located at Lake Linden, this event takes place on June 12.

Seafood Fest

The Seafood Fest, sponsored by the Houghton Rotary Club, is held on the Houghton waterfront in conjunction with Bridgefest. This festival runs from June 16 to June 18.

Bridgefest

The Bridgefest Celebration, always held on Father's Day weekend, takes place at various locations throughout Houghton and Hancock. This festival runs from June 17 to June 19.

Keweenaw Chain Drive Festival

Test your endurance at the Keweenaw Chain Drive Festival Mountain Bike Race on June 18, 2011.

Longest Day Fishing Tournament

The Longest Fishing Tournament is held on the waters of Lac La Belle, Copper Harbor, Eagle Harbor and Lake Medora. This event takes place on June 18.

Pasty Fest 2011

Come to Calumet July 25 for the annual PastyFest, a celebration of a Copper Country staple.

4th of July Celebrations

Thunder in the Harbor

The 3rd annual Copper Harbor Thunder in the Harbor, a Keweenaw Ride-In event, tentatively takes place Saturday, July 23 in downtown Copper Harbor. This presentation takes place on July 23.

Central Mine Reunion

The 106th annual reunion of the former Central Mine M. This event takes place on July 25.

Civil War Encampment

History comes alive at Fort Wilkins State Park on US-41 just east of Copper Harbor tentatively Friday, July 29 through Sunday, July 31. This event runs from July 29 to July 31.

Copper Country Mineral Retreat

Located at Houghton, this presentation runs from August 1 to August 6.

Copperman Triathlon

The Copperman Triathlon tentatively comes to Ft. Located at Copper Harbor, this event takes place on August 6.

Eagle Harbor Art Fair

Located at Eagle Harbor, this presentation takes place on August 13 and 14.

Kuparisaari Triathlon

The Kuparisaari Triathlon, a half-iron distance triathlon will tentatively be held on Sunday, August 14 in Lac La Belle. This event takes place on August 14.

Heritage Celebration

The annual Heritage Celebration takes place August 20 in Agassiz Park on 4th Street in Calumet. This festival takes place on August 20.

Great Deer Chase

The 6th Annual Great Deer Chase mountain bike race will be held on August 20 at the Swedetown Trail system off Swedetown Road in Calumet. This event takes place on August 20.

Art in the Park

Art in the Park will be held on Saturday, August 20 and Sunday, August 21 at the Community Center in Copper Harbor. This presentation takes place on August 20 and 21.

Houghton County Fair

Located at Hancock, this festival runs from August 25 to August 28.

Carl Olson Trail Run

Located at Chassell, this event takes place on August 27.

Fat Tire Festival

Located at Copper Harbor, this event takes place on September 5.

Copper Country Color Tour

50k, 100k & 200k bike rides along the highways of the Keweenaw through magnificent fall color on September 18.

Multi-Cultural Festival

Located at Houghton, this festival takes place on September 18.

Sibelius Academy Music Festival

The 12th Annual Finlandia University Sibelius Academy Music Festival will be held September 21 - September 25, 2010 at various Keweenaw locations. This presentation runs from September 21 to September 25.

Lake Superior Regional Rally

The Lake Superior Regional Rally is organized by the Lake Superior Region of the Sports Car Club of America, Inc. Located at Houghton, this event takes place on October 15 and 16.

The Keweenaw Cup

The Keweenaw Cup Cyclocross Race, a two day cyclocross extravaganze held in conjunction with the UPCross Points Series, is held in Copper Harbor on October 23 & 24.

Keweenaw Nordic Festival

A full weekend of nordic skiing combining new and traditional events at the Michigan Tech and Chassell trails January 15 & 16.

Copper Island Classic

Located at Chassell, this event takes place on January 16.

Snowmobile Hillclimb

Located at South Range, this event takes place on January 16 and 17.

Heikinpaiva Mid-Winter Festival

Celebrate the mid-point of winter with a series of Finnish related activities tentatively scheduled for Saturday, January 29 in Hancock. This festival takes place on January 29.

John Dee Snowfest

The John Dee Snowfest 2011 will be held on the Keweenaw Peninsula Friday, February 4th & Saturday, February 5th. Located at Houghton, this event takes place on February 4 and 5.

Winter Carnival

Winter Carnival 2011, the 90th Annual Michigan Tech University Winter Carnival, will be held February 9 through February 13

Copper Spiel

The Copper Country Curling Club hosts the 4th Annual Copper Bonspiel at the Historic Drill House Rink in Calumet February 18 through February 20.
